The
Barna group just released new research of some
churchy web trends that I find very interesting. Of the
computer users among your congregants
Barna found that as many as
10% may be
blogging.
Here are some other finds from the report:
78% used email this week.
33% have used instant messaging in the past week.
30% sent someone a txt message from their cell phone.
26% watched a vid on the internet.
23% use sites like MySpace or Facebook.
13% downloaded music online.
14% leave comments on blogs.
10% have a blog.
2% downloaded a movie.
I wonder how many congregants just read blogs -- without taking time to create one or leave a comment.
