Manic Monday Minute is a serious mind-dump that will probably take you one minute to read. Here are some thoughts going through my head right now...
This is the Manic Monday Minute... Great weekend. Enjoyed catching up with some old friends and relaxin a little. Rained yesterday. I hate when it rains on Sunday. Our staff works so hard. ... and I'm ready for the time change again. Anyone? I missed the Golden Globes last night. I threw a little after-party at my house following our student service last night. Good times. Gave a listen to Carlos Whittaker's new EP over the weekend. Refreshing music. I've gotten a few really encouraging phone calls and emails lately. Thank you. They all came at just the right time. I'm considering writing NBC about their treatment of Conan. Oh yes, I'm Team Conan. I want to see Avatar. Although yesterday someone told me that it had the same storyline as Pocahontas, except with blue, alien-like creatures. Taco Bell commercial. Eww. I'm not sure I can eat there anymore. The food just smells bad to me. Excited to hear about this new podcast launch. Praying for miracles. Oh yes, I am... His blog is without question one of the best Youth Ministry blogs in existence today. The footage on Haiti is staggering. Kudos to CNN for their coverage. Not sure what happened to the other networks... I literally turned the TV on this evening and watched Anderson Cooper carry a bloodied child to safety. Avatar is good, but I'm not as big a fan as the Avatards (official name of their fans). Go see it in Imax 3-D. It's worth the extra money. And it is Pocahontas but with Dances with Wolves and Ferngully thrown in.
