Dan Lee, tells on his blog that the new printing press is about to open in Nanjing, China which will increase the number of Bibles printed from 3 million a year to 12M a year! For years bibles have been smuggled into the closed country but those days are apparently gone! Praise God.

umm... is that true? will these bibles be for the nationals? or is it just a cheaper way for us in america to get more bibles?
it would be great if they were open for evangelism and all. but that's not what i understand, both from the economic model of china and the direction that religion officially takes in China.
my guess is that they are going to mass produce bibles in china for a dirt-cheap price (prob at the cost of the workers) and then mass-sell them at wal-marts across the us.
but, that's just a first-glance conjecture.
Jase, I only based my post on the original report. I sent a message to Dan Lee stating that the news sounded to good to be true. I'm not sure of the production.

I sure would like to know where you got your info. Sounds like it might be Amity Publishing in China. I tried to follow the links on your web site, but they went nowhere.
